Property History – Toledo Gas Light and Coke Company (TGLCC) operating a manufactured gas plant (MGP) at the property from 1887 to 1918. The facility discontinued manufacturing gas in 1918 and then began to purchase natural gas from Atlas Chemical Company (Atlas) for re-distribution. This arrangement with Atlas continued until 1928. Ohio Fuel Gas Co. acquired portions of the property from predecessors of the TGLCC in 1928. Another portion of the property was acquired from the City of Toledo in 2004. In 1964 a portion of the property was transferred from Ohio Fuel Gas Co. to Columbia Gas of Ohio (COH). COH operated a service center at the property until 2011.
